I-595 CORRIDOR TRAFFIC IMPACT REPORT SEPTEMBER 5, 2025– SEPTEMBER 12, 2025

I-595 SCHEDULED CLOSURES FOR ROUTINE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE:

The following closures are scheduled on Eastbound/Westbound directions of State Road 84 and I-595 to accommodate lighting inspections and installation of a downed sign and delineators:

• Mobile operations will take place on Eastbound and Westbound I-595 throughout the project limits from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025, to Friday, September 12, 2025.
• Mobile operations will take place on Eastbound and Westbound State Road 84 throughout the project limits from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025, to Friday, September 12, 2025.
• One lane closure on Westbound State Road 84 from Westbound I 595 (Exit 7) to Davie Road will be closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Monday, September 8, 2025, to Thursday, September 11, 2025.

SCHEDULED PROJECT NOTICE— THE I-595 CORRIDOR RESURFACING PROJECT:

• THE I 595 EXPRESS LANES FROM I 75 TO TURNPIKE ARE TO BE CLOSED NIGHTLY BEGINNING SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2025, THROUGH TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2025 --- The I 595 Express Lanes will be closed nightly from Sunday, September 21, 2025, to Tuesday, September 23, 2025. All express lanes will be closed including the six entrance ramps from 8:00pm to 4:00am. Ongoing milling and resurfacing activities may be impacted by weather conditions. Motorists are encouraged to continue traveling on the I 595 General purpose lanes and State Road 84 until once it is open and safe for travel. Please use caution in the area and follow all posted signs that will be placed in advance of this closure.

In addition to ongoing maintenance activities, the I-595 Resurfacing Project that began on Sunday, June 22, 2025. This project includes repaving the I-595 corridor—encompassing the Express Lanes, general-purpose lanes, and State Road 84—to improve the durability and resilience of the roadway. It also involves upgrading signage and pavement markings to meet current standards and enhancing the pavement surface for a smoother, safer driving experience. All work is being performed during nighttime hours to minimize impacts on daytime traffic. Updates on closures and project progress will continue to be shared as work advances.

APPROVED PERMIT WORK:

One shoulder and one lane on Eastbound State Road 84 from East of Nob Hill Road to Pine Ridge Drive will be closed from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, to Friday, September 12, 2025 for I 595 Fire Suppression system repair.
