I-595 CORRIDOR TRAFFIC IMPACT REPORT OCTOBER 24, 2025– OCTOBER 31, 2025

I-595 SCHEDULED CLOSURES FOR ROUTINE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE:

The following closures and mobile operations are scheduled on Eastbound and Westbound I-595, Eastbound and Westbound State Road 84, Eastbound I-75, Northbound I-75, Southbound Sawgrass Expressway, and Northbound and Southbound Turnpike for sign structures, bridges, and lighting inspections, as well as Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) preventative maintenance for overhead signs:

• Mobile operation closing one lane on Eastbound State Road 84, 0.7 miles west of Canal Drive, will take place from 10:00pm to 1:00am on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, through Friday, October 31, 2025.
• One lane on Eastbound State Road 84, 0.56 miles east of Davie Road will be closed from 9:00pm to 4:00am on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, to Friday, October 31, 2025.
• Mobile operations will take place on Eastbound and Westbound I-595 throughout the project limits will take place from 9:00 pm. to 5:00 am on Sunday, November 1, 2025, to Friday, November 14, 2025.
• Mobile operations will take place on Eastbound and Westbound State Road 84 throughout the project limits will take place from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am on Sunday, November 1, 2025, to Friday, November 14, 2025.
• Shoulder closure on Southbound Turnpike, South of I 595 will be taking place from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Monday, November 3, 2025.
• Shoulder closure on Southbound Turnpike, North of I 595 will be taking place from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
• One lane on Eastbound I-75 to I 595 Express Lanes Ramp from East of Weston Road to West of 136th Avenue will be closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Monday, November 3, 2025, to Friday, November 7, 2025.
• One lane on Northbound I-75 from East of Weston Road to West of 136th Avenue will be closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Monday, November 3, 2025, to Friday, November 7, 2025.
• One lane on Northbound I-75 from South of SW 14th Street and Indian Trace to West of 136th Avenue will be closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, to Friday, November 7, 2025.
• One lane on Southbound Sawgrass Expressway and I-75 from South of Sunrise Boulevard to West of 136th Avenue will be closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, to Friday, November 7, 2025.
• One lane on Southbound I-75 and Eastbound I-595 from East of Weston Road to East of 136th Avenue will be closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Thursday, November 6, 2025, to Friday, November 7, 2025.

SCHEDULED PROJECT NOTICE— THE I-595 CORRIDOR RESURFACING PROJECT:

• EASTBOUND I-595 GENERAL PURPOSE LANES FROM PINE ISLAND TO DAVIE ROAD ARE TO BE CLOSED ON SELECT NIGHTS THAT BEGAN WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2025 THROUGH THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2025-- Eastbound I-595 General Purpose lanes from Pine Island Road to Davie Road may have up to three lanes closed on select nights that began Wednesday, October 8, 2025 through Thursday, November 13, 2025. The first lane will close at 9:00 p.m., the second lane at 9:30 p.m., and the third lane at 10:00 p.m., with all lanes reopening by 5:00 a.m. This closure is necessary to safely perform milling and resurfacing operations. A detour, including impacted on- and off-ramps, remains in place along Eastbound State Road 84 from Pine Island Road to Davie Road. Ongoing milling and resurfacing activities may be impacted by weather conditions. Motorists are encouraged to continue traveling east on State Road 84 and use the next available on-ramp to Eastbound I-595 once it is open and safe for travel. Please use caution in the area and follow all posted detour signs.

• FULL RAMP CLOSURE ON WESTBOUND STATE ROAD 84 TO NORTHBOUND TURNPIKE IS TO BE CLOSED ON SELECT NIGHTS BEGINNING SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2025, THROUGH MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2025—-- TFull Ramp closure on Westbound State Road 84 to Northbound Turnpike is to be closed on select nights beginning Sunday, November 9, 2025, through Monday, November 10, 2025, from 9:00pm to 5:00am. This closure is necessary to safely perform milling and resurfacing operations. A detour will allow drivers to continue west on State Road 84, loop around Davie Road, then head east on State Road 84 before using the Northbound Turnpike ramp to merge onto the mainline. Ongoing milling and resurfacing activities may be impacted by weather conditions. Please use caution in the area and follow all posted detour signs.

In addition to ongoing maintenance activities, the I-595 Resurfacing Project that began on Sunday, June 22, 2025. This project includes repaving the I-595 corridor—encompassing the Express Lanes, general-purpose lanes, and State Road 84—to improve the durability and resilience of the roadway. It also involves upgrading signage and pavement markings to meet current standards and enhancing the pavement surface for a smoother, safer driving experience. All work is being performed during nighttime hours to minimize impacts on daytime traffic. Updates on closures and project progress will continue to be shared as work advances.
