I-595 CORRIDOR TRAFFIC IMPACT REPORT OCTOBER 23, 2026 – OCTOBER 30, 2026

I-595 SCHEDULED CLOSURES FOR ROUTINE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE:

The following mobile operations and lane closures are scheduled along Eastbound and Westbound I-595, the I-595 Express Lanes, Eastbound and Westbound State Road 84, Sawgrass Expressway, and Northbound State Road 7/US 441 for various maintenance activities, including bridge and sign structure maintenance, lighting maintenance and repairs, concrete surface treatment, bio-cleaning and mold removal on sidewalks, barriers, and sound walls, as well as other routine maintenance work:

  • Two of five lanes of Westbound I-595 between Florida's Turnpike and Davie Road will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026, for structure maintenance work. Closures will initially affect the two inside lanes (L1-L2), followed by the two outside lanes (L4-L5) upon completion of the initial work. Only two lanes will be closed at a time.   • One of four outside lanes of Westbound I-595 between Nob Hill Road and Hiatus Road will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026. (86A571)
  • One of three inside lanes (L1) of Westbound I-595 between US 441 and Florida's Turnpike will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026. (86A605)
  • One of three outside lanes (L3) of Westbound I-595 between US 441 and Florida's Turnpike will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026. (86A605)
  • Two of six lanes (L5-L6) of Westbound I-595 between Apple Slough Bridge and US 441 will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026. (860419)
  • Three of six lanes (L1-L2-L3) of Westbound I-595 between Apple Slough Bridge and Bridge 860426 will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026. (860426)
  • Two of five inside lanes (R1-R2) of Eastbound I-595 approximately 0.24 mile west of US 441/State Road 7 will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026. (860418)
  • One of two lanes of the Southbound Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) ramp connector to Eastbound I-595 will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026. (86A902)
  • Mobile operations on Eastbound and Westbound I 595 throughout the project limits will occur from 9:00pm to 5:00am beginning Thursday, October 15, 2026 through Saturday, October 31, 2026.
  • Mobile operations on Eastbound and Westbound State Road 84 throughout the project limits will occur from 9:00pm to 5:00am beginning Thursday, October 15, 2026 through Saturday, October 31, 2026.
  • One of two lanes of the Westbound I-595 off-ramp to Pine Island Road, between University Drive and Pine Island Road, will be closed nightly from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, October 28, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026. (86A585)
  • Mobile operations on Eastbound and Westbound I 595 throughout the project limits will occur from 9:00pm to 5:00am beginning Sunday, November 1, 2026 through Friday, November 13, 2026.
  • Mobile operations on Eastbound and Westbound State Road 84 throughout the project limits will occur from 9:00pm to 5:00am beginning Sunday, November 1, 2026 through Friday, November 13, 2026.


SCHEDULED PROJECT NOTICE— THE I-595 CORRIDOR RESURFACING PROJECT – PHASE 2:

Three outside lanes of Westbound I-595 between Davie Road and SW 136th Avenue, along with Ramps Q3, P1, L2, J, F, and B, will be closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on select nights from Sunday, October 18, 2026, through Sunday, October 25, 2026, with a backup date of Monday, October 26, 2026, for thermoplastic installation and bridge tape removal and installation. The closure extension is proposed for select nights from Sunday, October 25, 2026, through Sunday, November 1, 2026, with a backup date of Monday, November 2, 2026, during the same hours. No two consecutive off-ramps or on-ramps will be closed at the same time. Work may be impacted by weather conditions.

Full Closure of the I-595 Express lanes will be closed from 9:00pm to 4:00am on select nights from Sunday, October 25, 2026, through Thursday, October 29, 2026 for milling, resurfacing, and striping. Work may be impacted by weather conditions.

Partial Closure of the I-595 westbound central lanes, affecting the left lane just east of Davie Road, from 9:00pm to 5:00am on select nights from Sunday, October 25, 2026, through Thursday, October 29, 2026, for asphalt repairs. Work may be impacted by weather conditions.
